On Memorial Day I took some time to shoot just for me. My sister, the kids and I spent the afternoon in Bricktown while we had a much needed, but short lived break from the rainy, dreary weather we have been inundated with lately. It was nice to just shoot with out any expectations. It's always good to rest the mind and just let it go. I haven't seen the kids in a few weeks due to the weather and school. I'm sure with school out they will be asking to spend the night with Auntie again soon.
Hi! My name is Vanessa Wells, owner, photographer, pencil pusher and janitor of Vanessa Wells Images. I am an avid OU fan who loves college football and an occasional pro game on the weekend when I’m not out creating fantastic images for my clients or helping other photographers do the same. I love a good laugh, music, hanging out with friends, family, spoiling my granddaughter and meeting new people. It can be said that I used to never step out of my comfort zone. Now, I’ve been know to just jump right off of the cliff. I’m always learning something new everyday whether through trial and error, seminars, reading or tossing ideas around with other photographers. One of my favorite quotes “Fear is Good. I always wondered what I would do when my kids were raised and creating their own path in this crazy world called life. They say you find yourself in your 40’s…That is so true…I have finally found my passion and calling. Relatively new to the photography industry as a whole, you would always find me with a camera in my hand. I have taken pictures for years at family functions and my girls sporting events. When my girls decided to retire from sports, I was not ready to hang up my camera strap. That is when I decided to take my photography hobby to the next level.
